Schlaht, 68, of Jamestown, NS, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Eventide, Jamestown.Schelly M. Schlaht was born November 22, 1950, in Jamestown, the daughter of Harold \u201cChubby\u201d and Artena (Lang) Schlaht.\u00a0 She graduated from Jamestown High School and from Valley City State University with a teaching degree.\u00a0 Schelly taught for several years in Amidon, ND and New Mexico.\u00a0 She later worked at the caf\u00e9 at Jamestown College. \u00a0Schelly was an avid sports fan, especially of the Twins and Cubs.\u00a0 She rarely missed an American Legion Baseball game.\u00a0 Schelly loved going camping with family, reading books, and playing solitaire.<\/p>\n<p>Schelly is survived by her mother, Artena Schlaht; aunts and uncles; and many cousins across the United States.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents; a sister; and a brother.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funeral Service<\/strong>: 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Visitation<\/strong>: One hour before the service at the church.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interment:<\/strong> Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements through Eddy Funeral Home.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Schelly M.
