{"id":161958,"date":"2019-01-10T17:11:33","date_gmt":"2019-01-10T23:11:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=161958"},"modified":"2019-01-10T17:07:35","modified_gmt":"2019-01-10T23:07:35","slug":"hoff-sentenced-to-life-without-parole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=161958","title":{"rendered":"Hoff sentenced to life without parole"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"node-body\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-157268\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/HoffMichael-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/HoffMichael-300x202.jpg 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/HoffMichael-260x175.jpg 260w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/HoffMichael.jpg 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Kevin Hoff of\u00a0 Montpelier,\u00a0 was sentenced Thursday in Southeast District Court, by Judge Troy LeFevre\u00a0 to life in prison without the possibility of parole, for the murder of his former wife Nicole Haliaaloh Gututala-Hoff, of Jamestown. \u00a0 When LeFevre handed down the sentence Thursday, he said it was \u201cobviously simply a horrific crime committed by Mr. Hoff.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"p402_premium\">\n<div class=\"node-body\">\n<p>The 27 year old\u00a0 Hoff, pleaded guilty November 6, 2018, in the May 12, 2018 <a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=144725&amp;action=edit\">murder of his former wife, Nicole Gututala<\/a> in the parking lot of her Southeast Jamestown apartment building at 503 15th Street Southeast.<\/p>\n<p>When Hoff pleaded guilty, he said he waited for Gututala to get in her car, then shot her three times in the head.
