\"\"Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The Jamestown Chorlaires concert,\u00a0 “A World of Music,” will be on Friday January 25 and Saturday January 26,\u00a0 at 7:30 p.m. each evening at the Jamestown High School Theater.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, members, Roger Caine and Alden Kollmam said, the concert features singing styles from the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Africa and Russia. The Jamestown Boys’ Choir, Directed by Meredith Meidinger, joins the Choralaires, performing “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands” and “Dona Nobis Pacem.”<\/p>\n

The Choralaires, directed by Pam Burkhardt, will be \u00a0accompanied by Richard Walentine, and are the only North Dakota member chorus of the Associated Male Choruses of America, the group hosted Big Sings in 2016, 2012, 2004, and 1997.\u00a0 Roger said there will not be a Big Sing held this year.<\/p>\n

Roger pointed out that the January concert is dedicated to Larry Hoffman, in his 60th year as a baritone with the Choralaires. Larry will perform a solo of the Navy Hymn.<\/p>\n

Alden has been a Choralaires member for 14 year, and Roger for 46 years.\u00a0 The Choralaires formed in 1955.<\/p>\n

Roger said in May this year, the Choralaires will host a \u2018Mini Sing,\u201d in Jamestown with male choruses invited from the Valley City Troubadours, and from Bismarck and Minot.<\/p>\n
