{"id":163656,"date":"2019-01-31T16:44:56","date_gmt":"2019-01-31T22:44:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=163656"},"modified":"2019-01-31T16:54:24","modified_gmt":"2019-01-31T22:54:24","slug":"arrest-man-in-arizona-valley-city-shooting-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=163656","title":{"rendered":"Man arrested in Arizona, Valley City shooting case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-114767\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/HatcherPhilbckgrnd-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/HatcherPhilbckgrnd-300x202.jpg 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/HatcherPhilbckgrnd-260x175.jpg 260w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/HatcherPhilbckgrnd.jpg 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Valley City\u00a0 (VCPD)\u00a0 The Valley City Police Department reports that an arrest has been made in <a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=158353\">a shooting case from Valley City on November 21, 2018.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Police Chief Phil Hatcher\u2019s news release says, on January 30, 2019, 21 year old Cornelious Edward Johnson of Arizona was arrested without incident by the U.S. Marshal\u2019s Office in Maricopa County, Arizona.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson will be extradited back to Valley City facing charges of two counts of Attempted Murder, and Robbery.<\/p>\n<p>No other suspects are being sought at this time.<\/p>\n<p>This is an ongoing investigation.\u00a0 If anyone has further information they are asked to call the Valley City Police Department at 701-845-3110.<\/p>\n<p>Previously&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The shooting\u00a0 victim, a 19 year old Valley City Man was shot one time in the upper body, and is in an area hospital recovering.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting late Wednesday night November 21, 2018 was about 8-p.m., on the northeast part of town, near a school.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ValleyCityShooter.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-158466 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ValleyCityShooter-300x202.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ValleyCityShooter-300x202.jpg 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ValleyCityShooter-260x175.jpg 260w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ValleyCityShooter.jpg 445w\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" \/><\/a>The suspect is known at this time, only as a black male with shoulder length dreadlocks, approximately five feet eleven inches tall, weighing\u00a0 160 pounds.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the crime, the suspect was possibly wearing dark sweatpants and a crew neck sweatshirt.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect left the scene in a lighter colored, possibly tan or light gold, late model Pontiac Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p>Further information is that the suspect may be from the Chicago area, but has associates in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
