\"\"Jamestown\u00a0 (JRMC)\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>\u2014 Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) is proud to announce that the JRMC Pharmacy Department received the North Dakota Society of Health-System Pharmacist\u2019s Excellence in Medication Use Safety Award.<\/p>\n

This award recognizes a specific contribution or achievement that has advanced the ability of hospital and health-system pharmacists in the United States to serve the needs of patients through improved medication safety processes.<\/p>\n

JRMC\u2019s Pharmacy Department includes four doctors of pharmacy: Pharmacy Manager Brian Ament, Ashley Eagleson, Tabitha Kleingartner and Tom Schmitz. Also, there are four registered pharmacy technicians with three of whom are certified: Jayde Kueneman, Barb Schmidt, Janean Schmidt and Megan Thompson.<\/p>\n

Ament says, \u201cWe have a highly trained pharmacy staff with all members making patient safety a primary concern in all that we do,\u201d<\/p>\n

The services JRMC\u2019s Pharmacy Department provides has lasting effects on patient safety within the community and beyond.<\/p>\n

JRMC President & CEO Mike Delfs says, this achievement validates JRMC\u2019s commitment to being the best rural hospital for patients to receive care, employees to work and providers to practice.\u201d \u00a0In addition to receiving the North Dakota Society of Health-System Pharmacist\u2019s Excellence in Medication Use Safety Award, in 2019, iVantage also recognized JRMC as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital in the United States. In 2017 and 2018, Modern Healthcare named JRMC one of the top 150 Best Places to Work in healthcare nationwide.<\/p>\n
