Crews will not return for any items.<\/p>\n<p>Items accepted for Citywide Clean Up pick up include, small branches, less than four feet in length and less than two inches wide, and tied in bundles.<\/p>\n<p>Basic household items, small scale building and remodeling debris, wood, lumber, and non-creosoted landscaping timbers, carpeting.<\/p>\n<p>Items not accepted include large quantities of clothing, linens, regular garbage, stoves dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, items containing freon.<\/p>\n<p>Also <strong>NOT ACCEPTED<\/strong>, electronics, including no T.Vs, antifreeze,\u00a0 oil, lead acid batteries. Paint, lawnmowers, snowblowers, propane tanks, automotive products, paint, lawn mowers, gas cans, and bio-medical waste.<\/p>\n<p>Take non accepted items to\u00a0 Gerdau Ameristeel, West End Hide &amp; Fur,<\/p>\n<p>Other items can be disposed of in regular garbage, recycling.<\/p>\n<p>Take such items as tires, and automotive oil, to the city baler\/landfill.\u00a0 There may be a disposal charge for some items.\u00a0 Photo identification showing proof of residency is required.<\/p>\n<p>The Citywide Clean Up Week pick up schedule:<\/p>\n<p>Monday, May 13th \u2013 Southeast section<br \/>\nTuesday, May 14th \u2013 Southwest section<br \/>\nWednesday, May 15th \u2013 Northwest section<br \/>\nThursday, May 16th \u2013 Northeast section<\/p>\n<p>Flyers outlining Citywide Cleanup, including the map, available at City Hall.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Any questions, by contacting Jamestown City Hall at 701-252-5900.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update&#8230; Jamestown sanitation foreman, Shawn O\u2019Neill says the crews are also picking up less materials than in previous years.
