{"id":170442,"date":"2019-04-25T05:00:31","date_gmt":"2019-04-25T10:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=170442"},"modified":"2019-04-25T20:47:24","modified_gmt":"2019-04-26T01:47:24","slug":"fire-weather-watch-in-effect-thurs-a-m-thurs-p-m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=170442","title":{"rendered":"Red Flag Warning, Burn Bans, Stutsman, Barnes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Update&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Stutsman County Emergency Manager Jerry Bergquist says, <strong>the Stutsman County Burn Ordinance prohibits burning<\/strong> when the Fire Danger Rating is in the \u201cVERY HIGH\u201d or \u201cEXTREME\u201d categories or <strong>when a \u201cRed Flag Warning\u201d has been issued. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even though Stutsman County is in the \u201cHIGH\u201d fire danger rating Thursday which would normally allow for burning operations, the <strong>\u201cRed Flag Warning\u201d overrides whatever the Fire Danger Rating may be for the day.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The \u201cRed Flag Warning\u201d is in effect today from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. this evening.\u00a0 In Stutsman County, violation of this ordinance is a class B misdemeanor punishable with up to 30 days in jail and\/or a fine of $1,500.<\/p>\n<p>The daily Fire Danger Rating may be viewed by going to the Stutsman County website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stutsmancounty.org\">www.stutsmancounty.org<\/a> or calling the Stutsman County Communications Center at 701-252-1000.<\/p>\n<p>Barnes County also has\u00a0 a burn ban in effect which prohibits any burning anywhere in\u00a0 the county.
