{"id":178305,"date":"2019-08-23T14:42:48","date_gmt":"2019-08-23T19:42:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=178305"},"modified":"2019-08-23T14:42:48","modified_gmt":"2019-08-23T19:42:48","slug":"darold-roemmich-august-22-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=178305","title":{"rendered":"Darold Roemmich &#8211; August 22, 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"parallax\">\n<div class=\"contain\">\n<article class=\"obituary\">\n<section id=\"obit-text\" class=\"obit-text text-fade\">Darold Roemmich, 73, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 22, 2019 at the North Dakota Veterans\u2019 Administration Hospital, Fargo, ND.<\/p>\n<p>Darold was born November 25, 1945, in Tappen, ND, the son of Emil R. and Bertha (Pfaff) Roemmich.\u00a0 He was raised in Tappen and graduated from Tappen High School.\u00a0 He entered the US Air Force on February 1, 1965 and served in Vietnam fron 1967 to 1968.\u00a0 Darold was honorably discharged on January 8, 1969 and returned to North Dakota.\u00a0 He married Lenora Wetzel on August 10, 1973 in Medina, ND.\u00a0 They made their home in Jamestown where he worked for the City of Jamestown until his retirement.<\/p>\n<p>Darold is survived by his wife, Lenora Roemmich; two daughters, Donnell (Travis) Krueger and Danette (Brian) Heidt; four grandchildren, Alexius, Addison, Aiden, and Dezare; brothers, Thilmer (Susan) Roemmich and Marvin (Karen) Roemmich; and sisters, Violet Moreland and Violet (David) Gienger.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his parents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Private Graveside Service<\/strong>: North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the DAV, VFW, or American Legion of your choice in Darold\u2019s name.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Darold Roemmich, 73, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 22, 2019 at the North Dakota Veterans\u2019 Administration Hospital, Fargo, ND.
