Kuntz, 71, Jamestown, ND passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at his home.Marvin Kuntz was born September 22, 1947 in Elgin, ND, the son of Peter and Proxseda (Nagel) Kuntz.\u00a0 He attended school in Mott, ND.<\/p>\n<p>Marvin was in the Navy from 1965 until 1971, as a Communications Technician.\u00a0 On November 18, 1972 he married Marlene Whitney.\u00a0 They lived in Mandan, ND where he worked construction.\u00a0 In 1973, they moved to Ypsilanti, ND where he worked at the Elevator until 2006.\u00a0 He then moved to Jamestown and worked at Walmart for the next 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>Marvin was a kind person, loving father, loving grandfather, and a friend to many.\u00a0 He enjoyed spending time with his family and collecting coins.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his two children; son Peter (Lynne), Curtice, OH; daughter Christina Kuntz (Randy Ennen), Ypsilanti, ND; four sisters, Sally Stotz, Anamoose, Francis (Dale) Hardy, Meza, AZ, Dorothy Peterson, Bismarck, ND, Marlene Hellman, MN; brother, John, Bismarck, ND; four grandchildren, Michael Mills, Tristan Kuntz, Thea Kuntz and Jada Ennen.\u00a0 He was preceded in death by his father, mother and loving wife.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Eddy Funeral Home.\u00a0 Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 18 at St. James Basilica.\u00a0 Interment will be in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements with Eddy Funeral Home<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marvin E.
