(AP) \u2014 A North Dakota State University freshman from Minnesota who was killed five years ago died of asphyxia.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities have said little about the September 2014 death of 18-year-old Thomas Bearson of Sartell, Minnesota, other than it was a homicide.<\/p>\n<p>KVLY-TV <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valleynewslive.com\/content\/news\/Medical-examiner-says-Tom-Bearson-died-of-asphyxiation-560484051.html\">obtained<\/a> Bearson&#8217;s death certificate, which says he died of asphyxia \u2014 meaning he was deprived of oxygen.<\/p>\n<p>Besides alcohol, two prescription medications were in Bearson&#8217;s system \u2014 alprazolam, an anti-anxiety drug also known as Xanax, and temazepam, a sedative used to treat insomnia.<\/p>\n<p>Bearson was last seen at a party in Fargo. His body was later found at an RV dealership in Moorhead, Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>Despite hundreds of tips, no arrests have been made.
