The plan is to reduce conflict points between pedestrians and motorists.\u00a0 The plan changes 1st Ave from 2 lanes northbound and 2 lanes south, to 1 lane each direction with a center left turn lane.<\/p>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<!-- Begin Poll Code --><\/center><\/p>\n<div id=\"ivanI15373644413098\" class=\"ivanC15373644413098\"><\/div>\n<p><script src=\"http:\/\/jamestownusa.freepolls.com\/cgi-bin\/polls\/020\/poll.js?id=ivanI15373644413098\"><\/script><!-- End Poll Code--><\/p>\n<p>You can also email ben.aaseth@interstateeng.com with \u201cPublic Input Meeting\u201d in the subject heading.<\/p>\n<p>Aaseth pointed out that the project begins on 5th Street Northwest, and continues east to 1st Avenue then south on main street.<\/p>\n<p>The outlined plan includes each traffic lane 12 feet wide, with a 12 foot space for parking on main street.
