Buchanan (WDAY) The Body of 63 year old Sonia Heinle was recovered about 6:30-p.m. Thursday from the slough in which her car plunged, this past Sunday near her home at Buchanan.<\/p>\n
Sonar equipment located her in the slough, and her body was then recovered.<\/p>\n
Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser says he\u2019s relieved they found Heinle and are able to give the family some closure.<\/p>\n
Earlier on Thursday, the dive team from Fargo joined the search.<\/p>\n

Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser told CSiNewsNow.com, it appears she went off the roadway into the the slough when she misjudged a turn off into her driveway during snowy,windy conditions. He says when wind blew snow from the ground cover, vehicle tracks showed the car went into the slough.<\/p>\n
Recovery personnel on Wednesday were able to pull Sonia Heinle\u2019s car out of the slough that it went into on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0 vehicle\u2019s window was open, but her body was not in the vehicle.<\/p>\n
She was last seen this past Sunday night at 7-p.m. Officials say she did not return home after visiting her son\u2019s house about two miles away.<\/p>\n
