He attended the local school and the Lehr High School.<\/p>\n<p>Morris and Elda Becker were joined in marriage on June 27, 1948 at the First Baptist Church of Lehr, ND. They made their home near Lehr and later moved to Wishek where he worked as a mechanic. In 1952 they moved to Jamestown where he worked as an auto mechanic for RM Stoudt\u2019s for 32 years and retired in 1989. Following the death of his wife, he continued to reside in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>He was a member of the First Baptist Church and also the Jamestown Rural Fire Dept.<\/p>\n<p>Morris is survived by 4 children, Beverly (Dr. Peter) Fischer, Ann Arbor, MI; Charlotte Walden, Jamestown, ND; Arlen (Rene Bryan) Ruff, Mandan, ND; Doreen (Roy) Meyer, Monticello, MN; 8 grandchildren, Inga, Erica, Amanda, Rachel, Robyn, Jerdan, Connor and Tyler; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, James (Donna) Ruff, Lehr, ND; 2 sisters-in-law, Violet Ruff, Bismarck, ND; Darlene Aitken, Chico, CA; 2 brothers-in-law, Clarence Becker, Victorville, CA and Joe Gross, San Jose, CA.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his parents, wife in 2013 and 1 brother.<\/p>\n<p>Memorial Service \u2013 at a Later Date<\/p>\n<p>Burial &#8211; Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.<\/p>\n<p>Online Guest Book \u2013 www.hautfuneralhome.com<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Morris Ruff, 92, Jamestown, ND died Sat Dec 14, 2019 at his home in Jamestown under hospice care.
