\"\"The Jamestown\/Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) staff and Board of Directors had a very busy and successful 2019. Like past years, the FlexPACE Interest Buy-down Loan continues to be the most popular of the many incentives offered by JSDC.\u00a0The Board of Directors approved a total of $433,700 in FlexPACE funds to nine local projects and leveraged over $5.6 million which was invested in our communities.\u00a0Growing industries included: healthcare, logistics, retail, utility construction, and food establishments.\u00a0Learn more about all of JSDC incentives here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In 2019, JSDC completed a long-term project by transfering management of the I-94 Business Park to the land owners of the Park. The project began back in 2003 with the final lot sale to United Parcel Service in 2019. The Park is now full with retail, finance, construction, logistics, diesel mechanics, residential\/commercial development, and aerospace industries.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The Spiritwood Energy Park continues to attract interest from multiple industries. \u201cA biomass company that recently broke ground in Grand Forks is interested in more locations across the state, including Spiritwood,\u201d reported Connie Ova, CEO, \u201cWe do have an exclusive agreement with Company X; there is other interest in the site for a value-added processing facility; we are working with North Dakota Commerce on a bioprocessing facility project; and Great River Energy is working with a greenhouse project with a possible site visit at SEPA in January .\u201d<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The newest success is the completion (and under budget) of the Jamestown Airport Business Park which is ready for the aeronautical and non-aeronautical industries.\u00a0The Park offers 32 shovel-ready lots ranging in size for 8.5 to 46 acres and excellent accessibility to transportation infrastructure.\u00a0JSDC is currently working with the North Dakota Army National Guard to locate their new Armory in the southeastern area of this Park.\u00a0According to Ova,\u00a0\u201cAirport Park interest has been from local companies wanting to expand and third party suppliers of local companies as well as a UAV company that has other locations in ND.\u201d<\/p>\n
