{"id":192319,"date":"2020-02-21T07:25:55","date_gmt":"2020-02-21T13:25:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=192319"},"modified":"2020-02-21T15:29:13","modified_gmt":"2020-02-21T21:29:13","slug":"peggy-lu-williams-feb-20-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=192319","title":{"rendered":"Peggy Lu Williams Hoeckle- Feb 20, 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"parallax\">\n<div class=\"contain\">\n<article class=\"obituary\">\n<section id=\"obit-text\" class=\"obit-text text-fade\"><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/HoekelPeggyLuu.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-192320\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/HoekelPeggyLuu.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/HoekelPeggyLuu.jpg 200w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/HoekelPeggyLuu-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/HoekelPeggyLuu-175x175.jpg 175w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a>Peggy Lu Williams was born December 7, 1926 on her parents\u2019 farm at Streeter, ND.\u00a0 She was the daughter of Hubert and Marie (Nelson) Williams.\u00a0 She attended country school and later Streeter public school.Peggy moved to Jamestown in 1945 and worked at the Red Owl Store, Gladstone Hotel and the Vita Bakery.\u00a0 On December 11, 1947 Peggy and Bruce Hoeckle were united in marriage at the First Church of the Nazarene in Jamestown.\u00a0 They lived in the Pingree area, farming and raising their six children.\u00a0 The Pingree\/Buchanan School District honored Peggy and Bruce with an athletic award for having children participating in athletics for 30 years.\u00a0 Bruce passed away June 14, 1992.\u00a0 She retired from the Pingree Community Caf\u00e9 in 2006, after 22 years of servicePeggy was a member of the Pingree Congregational Church for many years and a lifelong member of First Church of the Nazarene where she was baptized with a full body immersion in Spiritwood Lake. \u00a0She loved her Lord, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.\u00a0 She enjoyed walking, reading, taking trips and was the queen of the scrabble board.\u00a0 Peggy was known for her hugs, smiles, and she was a Grandmother to everyone.Peggy is survived by her six children: Charlotte (Mark) Knodel, Bowdon, ND, Byron (Glenda) Hoeckle, Binford, ND, Loren (Julie) Hoeckle, Sandra (Rod) Wilhelm all of Jamestown, ND, Donna Slais, Watford City, ND, Greg (Brenda) Hoeckle, Carrington, ND.\u00a0 Survivors also include 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce;
