News) The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the 59-year-old Ashley man who died Monday (Aug 6, 2012) in a two-vehicle crash on I-94. He was identified Tuesday as Rickey Heinrich.,<\/p>\n<p>The patrol said the crash happened about 9:15 a.m., three miles east of Richardton.<\/p>\n<p>65 year old Janice Etherton, of Glen Ullin, was traveling westbound on I-94 in a 2004 Kenworth, hauling corn to Richardton.<\/p>\n<p>Heinrich was driving a 2004 Ford pickup westbound on I-94 also and after moving into the same lane Etherton was driving in, the driver slowed down for unexpected reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Etherton applied her brakes but was unable to avoid striking the Ford pickup from behind, and subsequently both vehicles spun into a ditch.<\/p>\n<p>Both vehicles rolled upon hitting the ditch and came to rest there.<\/p>\n<p>Etherton was wearing her seat belt and was transported to St. Joseph\u2019s Hospital in Dickinson, for injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Heinrich was not wearing his seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Both vehicles were totaled.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V.
