{"id":201055,"date":"2020-06-08T14:27:42","date_gmt":"2020-06-08T19:27:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=201055"},"modified":"2020-06-09T19:27:39","modified_gmt":"2020-06-10T00:27:39","slug":"jun-9-city-primary-election-ballots-coming-in-strong","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=201055","title":{"rendered":"City &#038; Primary ballots due by 4pm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-88921\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/barnescountycourthouse.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"167\" \/>(CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown and Valley City \u00a0June 9, 2020 election ballots, have been returned in good number with the votes to be counted, on Tuesday evening, starting at 7-p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Stutsman County Auditor\/COO Nicole Meland says, as of Tuesday morning,\u00a0 4,353 ballots had been received at the Courthouse.<\/p>\n<p>Barnes County Auditor, Beth Diddier said as of 5-p.m., Friday there were 2,296 ballots returned, to be counted Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n<p>Both are substantial numbers, and in Stutsman County surpassing the total of 3,528 ballots that were cast in the\u00a0 City\/Primary elections in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Mailed in ballots must carry a postmark no later that June 8, 2020.\u00a0 Those arriving after that date but still having a postmark by June 8, 2020 will still be counted.<\/p>\n<p>Voters wishing to drop the ballots in the Stutsman County or Barnes County Courthouse \u00a0drop boxes may do so by 4-p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Election returns this evening on CSiNewsNow.com and on CSi Cable 10.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown and Valley City \u00a0June 9, 2020 election ballots, have been returned in good number with the votes to be counted, on Tuesday evening, starting at 7-p.m. Stutsman County Auditor\/COO Nicole Meland says, as of Tuesday morning,\u00a0 4,353 ballots had been received at the Courthouse.
