{"id":203630,"date":"2020-07-11T12:00:20","date_gmt":"2020-07-11T17:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=203630"},"modified":"2020-07-14T15:31:09","modified_gmt":"2020-07-14T20:31:09","slug":"carol-ann-moser-jul-9-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=203630","title":{"rendered":"Carol Ann Moser &#8211; Jul 9, 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"parallax\">\n<div class=\"contain\">\n<article class=\"obituary\">\n<section id=\"obit-text\" class=\"obit-text text-fade\">Carol Ann Moser, age 78, of Glencoe, Minnesota, formerly of Jamestown, North Dakota, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>Carol Ann (Wentz) Moser was born on June 17, 1942, on the family farm, 2 \u00bd miles east of Napoleon, North Dakota.\u00a0 She was the daughter of Otto and Lucy (Weibusch) Wentz.\u00a0 Carol received her education in Napoleon, graduating with the Napoleon High School class of 1960.<\/p>\n<p>On June 26, 1960, Carol was united in marriage to Arnold Moser at United Methodist Church in Medina, North Dakota.\u00a0 They co-owned the Red Owl Store in Napoleon and lived in many different cities in North and South Dakota.\u00a0 Carol and Arnold settled in Medina, ND, where they were blessed with six sons, Dean, Wayne, Timothy, Brian, Steven and Chad.\u00a0 They attended many baseball and basketball games.\u00a0 Carol and Arnold owned Hardware Hank and True Value Hardware in Medina. In 1979, Carol began working for the North Dakota State Hospital until she retired in 2004.\u00a0 After retiring, Carol began working for County Market Grocery in Jamestown and spent six summers working in Medora, ND.\u00a0 Her most recent employment was with Jamestown Public Schools.\u00a0 Carol and Arnold shared over 34 years of marriage until Arnold passed away on December 26, 1994.\u00a0 This past May, Carol fully retired and moved to Glencoe, MN to enjoy family time with her children and grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Carol enjoyed bargain shopping, quilting, crocheting, cooking, baking, watching the Minnesota Twins and going to the movies.\u00a0 She cherished the time spent with her family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Carol passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 78 years and 22 days.<\/p>\n<p>Carol is survived by her sons, Dean Moser and his wife, Tam, Wayne Moser\/Tammy Martin, Timothy Moser and his wife, Shirin, Brian Moser and his wife, Natalia, Steven Moser and his wife, Kristi, Chad Moser and his wife, Nicole; grandchildren, Dustin, Deven, Donavan, Dirk, Benjamin, Megan, Joshua, Savanna, Allison, Mariah, Zachariah, Sawyer, Samantha, Corbin, Caleb, Ava, Camden; 9 Great Grandchildren; siblings, Terry Wentz and his wife RoJean,<br \/>\nJoann Schumacher; sisters-in-law, Vicki Wentz, Delores Wentz, JoAnne Wentz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.<\/p>\n<p>Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Lucy Wentz; husband, Arnold Moser; siblings, Gene Wentz, Floyd Wentz, Ralph Wentz, Warren Wentz, Gordon Wentz.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Visitation:<\/strong> 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2020 at Eddy Funeral Home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorial Service<\/strong>: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Burial:<\/strong> Medina Cemetery, Medina, ND.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carol Ann Moser, age 78, of Glencoe, Minnesota, formerly of Jamestown, North Dakota, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
