When compared to this time last year, North Dakota motorists are saving 59 cents per gallon, according to AAA.<\/p>\n
As COVID-19 case numbers near 4.5 million, demand for gasoline is weak across the country. The latest Energy Information Administration (EIA) demand reading indicated national demand is 11 percent less than a year ago.<\/p>\n
AAA says gas prices are likely to fluctuate throughout the rest of the summer as the nation continues to deal with impacts of the pandemic.<\/p>\n
More than 20 percent of North Dakota gas stations are selling gas for less than $2 while just 1 percent are above $2.50. McHenry County has the lowest average at $1.98.<\/p>\n
