News) &#8212; A ceremony honoring the nation\u2019s flag, and an official flag retirement ceremony are planned for Flag Day June 14, 2013, at 7-p.m., at Fort Seward in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>Following a short program the Girl Scouts of Jamestown will conduct the retirement ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony is sponsored by the Patriotic Council of Jamestown, which will serve refreshments and cookies after the ceremony. The public is invited to attend.<\/p>\n<p>People who have old, faded or torn flags can bring them to the ceremony for proper disposal, or drop them off at the All Vets Club, 116 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street East in Jamestown by June 12<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Fort Seward is located on the northwest hill of Jamestown, on U.S Highway 281.<\/p>\n<p>The Patriotic Council is made up of representatives of The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, Vietnam Vets, 40 &amp; 8, and AMVETS and their Auxiliaries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V.
