Mulfinger, 92, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Friday morning, October 16, 2020 at Sanford on Broadway, Fargo, ND.David was born January 23, 1928, on a farm south of Cleveland, ND, the son of Jacob and Elizabeth (Burow) Mulfinger.\u00a0 He attended schools in the Cleveland area and enlisted in the US Navy in 1946.\u00a0 David served in the Pacific area and was honorably discharged in 1948.\u00a0 He returned to the farm in Stirton Township and farmed from 1948 to 1976.\u00a0 On September 30, 1950, David and Mary A. Cegla were united in marriage at Royalton, MN.\u00a0 They moved to Jamestown in 1976 where he worked for Farmers Union Insurance as a crop adjuster until he retired.<\/p>\n<p>David served as a township supervisor for 9 years and on the Cleveland Elevator Board for 6 years.\u00a0 He was also a member of the B.P.O.E #995.<\/p>\n<p>David is survived by his wife, Mary Mulfinger.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; sisters, Elizabeth Fairfield, Lillian Neukircher, and Lucille Silzly; and brothers, Henry, William, and an infant brother.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funeral Service: <\/strong>10:30 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2020 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Visitation: <\/strong>One hour before the funeral.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Burial: <\/strong>Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>David H.
