{"id":213387,"date":"2020-11-20T16:44:50","date_gmt":"2020-11-20T22:44:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=213387"},"modified":"2020-11-20T16:44:50","modified_gmt":"2020-11-20T22:44:50","slug":"bertha-guthmiller-nov-19-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=213387","title":{"rendered":"Bertha Guthmiller &#8211; Nov 19, 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"parallax\">\n<div class=\"contain\">\n<article class=\"obituary\">\n<section id=\"obit-text\" class=\"obit-text text-fade\">Bertha Guthmiller, 95, of Pettibone, ND, died Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Eventide, Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>Bertha was born February 25, 1925, in Woodworth, ND, the daughter of Peter and Carrie (Guthmiller) Schneider.\u00a0 She attended school in Petersville Township.\u00a0 On July 27, 1951, she married Adam Guthmiller and they farmed on his parents\u2019 farm in Rexine Township until 1951, later moving to another farm in Rexine Township.\u00a0 In 1953 they moved to Pettibone and operated the cream station and bar, until they later retired in 1988.<\/p>\n<p>Bertha enjoyed reading, embroidering, listening to polka and waltz music, and going to church.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by four daughters, Lavonne (Dennis) Clark, Woodworth, ND, Carol (Dellwyn) Clark, Jamestown, Phyllis (Dennis) Nieswaag, Pettibone, ND, Rolene (Noel) Harr, Mapleton, ND; one son, Norbert (Cheryle) Guthmiller, Bismarck, ND; two sisters, Dorline Guthmiller, Steele, ND and Lucille Morlock, Jamestown; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Carrie Schneider; husband, Adam Guthmiller; brother, Reinhold Schneider; sister-in-law, Alvina Guthmiller; brother-in-law, Leroy Morlock; grandson, Steven Clark; great-granddaughter, Mikah Guthmiller; and great-Grandson, Beau Bernier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Private Family Funeral Service<\/strong>: 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 23, 2020 at Our Savior\u2019s Lutheran Church, Pettibone, ND with Candyce Wick officiating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Burial<\/strong>: Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Pettibone, ND.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bertha Guthmiller, 95, of Pettibone, ND, died Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Eventide, Jamestown.
