{"id":213799,"date":"2020-11-27T15:25:55","date_gmt":"2020-11-27T21:25:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=213799"},"modified":"2020-11-27T16:43:04","modified_gmt":"2020-11-27T22:43:04","slug":"mary-trautman-nov-25-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=213799","title":{"rendered":"Mary Trautman &#8211; Weds Nov 25, 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"parallax\">\n<div class=\"contain\">\n<article class=\"obituary\">\n<section id=\"obit-text\" class=\"obit-text text-fade\">Mary Trautman, 87, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Wednesday evening, November 25, 2020 at Eventide, Jamestown.Mary Mathias was born at 5am on July 11, 1933, in Homer Township, near Jamestown, the daughter of Elmer Vance and Myrtle Blanche (Berg) Mathias.\u00a0 She grew up on the family farm and attended Mathias #2 country school.\u00a0 Mary was confirmed in 1947 and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1951. \u00a0Mary and Harold Trautman were united in marriage on August 22, 1952 and they made their home on a farm west of Jamestown.\u00a0 Mary was an active member of St. John\u2019s Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and Bible school for over 25 years, and was a Lay Sacramentarian, taking communion to shut-ins. \u00a0\u00a0She also taught religious classes at the Anne Carlsen School for 10 years.\u00a0 Mary was a devoted volunteer for the Jamestown Regional Medical Center and the Hospice program for over 25 years.\u00a0 She served on the Central Valley Health Clinic Board and as chair of the County Cancer Crusade.\u00a0 Mary was a member of P.E.O.
