{"id":216061,"date":"2021-01-04T10:27:28","date_gmt":"2021-01-04T16:27:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=216061"},"modified":"2021-01-04T10:27:28","modified_gmt":"2021-01-04T16:27:28","slug":"road-diet-work-to-start-this-spring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=216061","title":{"rendered":"Road Diet work to start this spring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown Mayor Dwaine Heinrich\u00a0 plans will move forward this spring with Road Diet plan for Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, he said, the work to transform most of the pavement markings, that outline the travel and turning lanes is expected to be complete by fall this year.<\/p>\n<p>He said with the paving markings guiding motorists along the roadway, that it will help in driving the new lanes, and maneuver around the bump-outs in an orderly manner.<\/p>\n<p>He pointed out that the NDDOT is working with the city street department to make some minor adjustments to the driving plan from the paving markings.<\/p>\n<p>Also the pedestrian beacons will be installed.<\/p>\n<p>The sidewalk pavers have been approved for installation, marking historical events in Jamestown including people who have been a part of Jamestown history.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown Mayor Dwaine Heinrich\u00a0 plans will move forward this spring with Road Diet plan for Jamestown.
