A cold front will move through Wednesday night and with<\/p>\n<p>it a chance for light rain showers and in some areas east of the<\/p>\n<p>Red River valley in northwestern Minnesota freezing rain. The<\/p>\n<p>period of precipitation will be short lived.<\/p>\n<p>Northwest winds will increase behind the front by Thursday morning<\/p>\n<p>with gusts to 50 mph at times into Thursday night from Devils Lake<\/p>\n<p>to Valley City with gusts over 40 mph possible in the Red River<\/p>\n<p>valley.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, a second low will form to our east and there is<\/p>\n<p>expected to be a period of snow with this system over much of the<\/p>\n<p>area Thursday afternoon into Friday morning.
