Chapter AB of Jamestown announced Wednesday that high school senior Madison Motschenbacher of Jamestown is the 2021 recipient of the Charlotte H. Hansen P.E.O. Scholarship, earning $3,000 toward her enrollment at the University of Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>Motschenbacher plans to study communications and foreign language and will be involved in the university\u2019s Character in Leadership program.<\/p>\n<p>Established in 2019, the scholarship honors Hansen, a P.E.O. member and resident of Jamestown who was deeply involved in professional, educational and philanthropic activities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization dedicated to advancing education for women. Since its founding in 1869, the organization has given more than $366 million in scholarships, grants, awards and low-interest loans to help women achieve their scholastic goals.
