The Legal Thriller Set in Alexandria releases on August 7th<\/sup><\/p>\n

In a news release provided by\u00a0 Tara Kapp of Jamestown, Driscoll is a successful and beloved \u2018elder statesman\u2019 in Alexandria, Minnesota, who founded and runs a huge heavy-truck leasing company.<\/p>\n

However, unknown to pretty much everyone, his commitment to business ethics is\u2026 \u2018Don\u2019t get caught\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t Get Caught\u201d is a fast-paced, funny, legal thriller that will make you cheer for the good guys, and occasionally want to just give them a hug.<\/p>\n

When the latest legal thriller by\u00a0 Stoudt\u00a0 gets underway, Victor\u2019s sons, Kelly and Ryan, have been brought in to make it right after a huge case of fraud is revealed. Kelly runs a number of local businesses, and does have a moral compass. Ryanis a Stillwater attorney, determined to preserve his father\u2019s \u2018good guy\u2019 legacy.<\/p>\n

They recruit foul-mouthed and offensive Margaret Kratski as office manager \/ investigator, and Donna Carlasccio, a former Marine with anger issues, as their muscle.<\/p>\n

Margaret admits that she\u2019s been fired by more bosses than she can count, and Donna is reputed to have actually killed more bad guys with her Sig Sauer in close combat, than with her Marine-issue M16. What could go wrong?<\/p>\n

Author Jamie Stoudt grew up in Jamestown, North Dakota, and currently lives in Stillwater, Minnesota, close to his son, daughter, and seven grandkids. His son and daughter are featured on the cover of the new book.<\/p>\n

Stoudt\u2019s first novel, \u201cBack Again,\u201d has received high praise, and along with \u201cDon\u2019t Get Caught,\u201d is currently available on Amazon, and on a \u2018Buy Direct from the Author\u2019 link on his website, Jamie Stoudt Books.com.<\/p>\n

Stoudt says he got so close to his characters in \u201cDon\u2019t Get Caught,\u201d he decided to write a sequel, before moving on to other topics, and thus his third novel, \u201cDonna Carlasccio,\u201d continues the storyline from \u201cDon\u2019t Get Caught,\u201d as they move down to Stillwater.<\/p>\n

That book is set for release in November 2021.<\/p>\n

Stoudt\u2019s next effort, \u201cThe Man Under the Moon,\u201d delves into the lives of the first colonists on the moon, and is expected to be in print in the spring of 2022.<\/p>\n
