\"\"Jamestown\u00a0 (City)\u00a0 Thursday night, July 29, 2021, Jamestown City crews will be out sweeping and painting the City parking lots.<\/strong> This will take place at 9:00 PM and continue through the night or until finished. Signs will be put in place by the Street Department.
\nPlease move vehicles out of these parking lots during these times until work is finished.
\nThe above schedule is contingent upon changing weather conditions.
\nMotorists should use extreme caution in this area.<\/p>\n

\"\"Jamestown\u00a0 (JRVLS)\u00a0 The James River Valley Library System, Director, Joe Rector has issued a statement, because the Stutsman County Library is facing budget cuts, and \u00a0\u201cI want to provide information.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said, per the direction from the Stutsman County Commission, the County Library is requesting the same budget as for 2021,.\u00a0 He pointed out that the JRVLS is not asking for an increase in 2022. Even so, the County Commission has summoned the Library to defend its budget request, and the reason given is as follows:<\/p>\n

Rector said, \u201cI would like to talk to them about why that Library [Stutsman County Library] is still open. I\u2019m not really getting a good answer from them.\u201d (Commissioner Joan Morris, July 27 special Commission meeting).<\/p>\n
