{"id":231630,"date":"2021-08-07T21:40:07","date_gmt":"2021-08-08T02:40:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=231630"},"modified":"2021-08-07T21:41:26","modified_gmt":"2021-08-08T02:41:26","slug":"2-motorcycles-crash-2-injured-sat-am-north-of-oakes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=231630","title":{"rendered":"Motorcycles crash, 2 injured Sat am, north of Oakes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span id=\"page59R_mcid4\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Oakes\u00a0 (NDHP)\u00a0 The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that about 11:48 a.m., Saturday,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page59R_mcid9\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">2005 and 1985 Harley Davidson Motorcycles <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page59R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\">were involved in a r<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ear end collision<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page59R_mcid12\" class=\"markedContent\">, on Highway 1, fives miles north of Oakes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <span id=\"page59R_mcid17\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">1985 Harley Davidson Motorcycle operated by 48 year old,<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page59R_mcid18\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"> Jessey Hager of Brainerd, MN and\u00a0<span id=\"page59R_mcid12\" class=\"markedContent\"> 2005 Harley Davidson Motorcycle <\/span><span id=\"page59R_mcid13\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/>operated by 33 year old Brandon Bohne, of Baxter, MN <\/span><\/span><\/span><span id=\"page59R_mcid12\" class=\"markedContent\"><span id=\"page59R_mcid24\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">were traveling southbound on Highway 1 <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">around 60 mph. Both drivers began to slow as a dog was heading toward the roadway. <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Bohne&#8217;s vehicle didn\u2019t slow as fast as Hager&#8217;s.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page59R_mcid12\" class=\"markedContent\"><span id=\"page59R_mcid24\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Bohne&#8217;s vehicle\u00a0 struck the back of Hager&#8217;s.\u00a0 The\u00a0 <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">bikes separated with Hager&#8217;s vehicle\u00a0 sliding on its side and the driver being removed from his bike. <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Bohne&#8217;s vehicle was able to stay upright and come to a stop. Both drivers were transported to\u00a0 <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Oakes hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page59R_mcid12\" class=\"markedContent\"> <br role=\"presentation\" \/><\/span><span id=\"page59R_mcid20\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page59R_mcid24\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page59R_mcid11\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Agencies Involved: <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">NDHP, Dickey County SO, Oakes Ambulance, Oakes PD, Oakes Fire and <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Rescue.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page59R_mcid12\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page1R_mcid1\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oakes\u00a0 (NDHP)\u00a0 The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that about 11:48 a.m., Saturday,\u00a0 2005 and 1985 Harley Davidson Motorcycles were involved in a rear end collision, on Highway 1, fives miles north of Oakes.
