In meetings scheduled in the next three weeks, federal officials plan to discuss making shots made by one manufacturer, <strong>Pfizer,<\/strong> available for kids ages 5 to 11. The FDA isn\u2019t bound by the vote but its ultimate decision could help expand the nation\u2019s booster campaign. Booster doses of Pfizer\u2019s vaccine began last month for people at high risk of COVID-19, and the FDA advisory panel has recommended the same approach for Moderna.
