UJ opened with a 5-1 lead and eventually went ahead 11-2. Doane got no closer than eight points at 21-13, and the Jimmies&#8217; final four points all came via kill<\/p>\n<p>The Tigers stayed with UJ for the first half of set two, trailing just 13-11 before the Jimmies scored six of the next eight points to open up a 19-13 lead. Jamestown once again outhit Doane .263 to .125.<\/p>\n<p>A 9-2 run to open the third made it seem like UJ would have no trouble finishing off the sweep, but the Tigers had other plans. Jamestown had match point at 24-19, only to have Doane take six straight points and a 25-24 lead. Following a Jimmie timeout, a Tiger attack error evened the score, then kills by Ritter and Zieske finished off the match.<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown, now 22-0 and 11-0 in the GPAC, hosts Hastings (Neb.)
