GPAC Semifinals at Harold Newman Arena Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown Sweeps Dakota Wesleyan 3-0\u00a0 <span class=\"vb-long-result vb-result-type-1\">25-19,25-23,25-18<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/naia.prestosports.com\/sports\/wvball\/2021-22\/boxscores\/20211110_hbq0.xml\">Box Score<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-body\">\n<p>Jamestown\u00a0 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/article\/6300\">UJ)<\/a>\u00a0 The top-ranked University of Jamestown women&#8217;s volleyball team advanced to the finals of the GPAC postseason tournament for the third straight season, sweeping No. 13 Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) University Wednesday night at Harold Newman Arena.<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown improved to 30-0 on the year, reaching the 30-win plateau for the third consecutive season.<\/p>\n<p>The Jimmies will host No. 19 Concordia (Neb.) University Saturday at 7 p.m. for the GPAC championship. Concordia, the tournament&#8217;s sixth seed, posted its second straight upset, defeating second seed and fifth-ranked College of Saint Mary (Neb.) in five sets Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>UJ and Concordia met once in the regular season with Jamestown winning 3-0 in Seward, Neb., on October 22.<\/p>\n<p>DWU held serve with the Jimmies in set one, tying the score at 14 after an ace by Callie Slagter. <a id=\"rosterLink0\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11071\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11071\" data-original-title=\"\">Corina Huff<\/a> (SR\/Pequot Lakes, Minn.) registered a kill on the next play to start a run of five straight UJ points to pull away.<\/p>\n<p>Set two was a back and forth affair with neither team building more than a four-point lead. A 4-0 run by the Tigers tied the set at 18. <a id=\"rosterLink1\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11058\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11058\" data-original-title=\"\">Taylor Sabinash<\/a> (SR\/Kensal, N.D.) and <a id=\"rosterLink2\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11055\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11055\" data-original-title=\"\">Jayla Ritter<\/a> (SR\/Forest Lake, Minn.) kills put the Jimmies at set point, then a combo block by Ritter and <a id=\"rosterLink3\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11053\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11053\" data-original-title=\"\">Anna Holen<\/a> (SR\/LaMoure, N.D.) sealed the set.<\/p>\n<p>After the Tigers got within 9-8 in the third set, a Holen kill started a 6-1 run resulting in a 15-9 lead. DWU got as close as 16-13, only to have Jamestown score the next five points and end any chances of a Tiger comeback.<\/p>\n<p>Holen posted a team-high 10 kills and the trio of Sabinash, <a id=\"rosterLink4\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11072\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11072\" data-original-title=\"\">Aleah Zieske<\/a> (FR\/Spicer, Minn.), and <a id=\"rosterLink5\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11062\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11062\" data-original-title=\"\">Kalli Hegerle<\/a> (SR\/West Fargo, N.D.) each had nine. <a id=\"rosterLink6\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11054\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11054\" data-original-title=\"\">Jackie Meiklejohn<\/a> (SR\/Dickey, N.D.) passed out 21 assists and <a id=\"rosterLink7\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11056\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11056\" data-original-title=\"\">Megan Gaffaney<\/a> (SR\/Jamestown, N.D.) 20, helping the Jimmies hit .219 for the match.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"rosterLink8\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11065\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11065\" data-original-title=\"\">Ellie Holen<\/a> (SO\/LaMoure, N.D.) led the back row with 23 digs, while <a id=\"rosterLink9\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11053\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11053\" data-original-title=\"\">Anna Holen<\/a> had 16 and <a id=\"rosterLink10\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11057\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11057\" data-original-title=\"\">Hannah Schiele<\/a> (SR\/Jamestown, N.D.) 10. <a id=\"rosterLink11\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/18\/11053\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/18\/11053\" data-original-title=\"\">Anna Holen<\/a> had six block assists and Ritter added four.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UJ Women&#8217;s Volleyball.
