The Lions shot 25 percent on field goals (13-53), 12 percent from 3-point range (2-17) and 81 percent on free throws (17-21).<\/p>\n<p>Valley City State improves to 3-5 on the season and Trinity Bible falls to 1-3 overall.<\/p>\n<p>Valley City State held the rebounding advantage 33-24 and scored 29 points on 31 Lion turnovers. VCSU totaled 17 steals and 17 assists as a team.<\/p>\n<p>The Vikings shot 60 percent in the first half and led by as much as 22 points on a 3-pointer from Diemert. VCSU led 51-31 at halftime and held the Lions to just a pair of free throws in the fourth quarter to defeat\u00a0Trinity Bible\u00a091-45.<\/p>\n<p>Stacia West posted a double-double for Trinity Bible with 15 points and 10 rebounds Tuesday. Abby Molan added 13 points for the Lions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UP NEXT:<\/strong> Valley City State travels to University of Jamestown on Saturday for a non-conference doubleheader. VCSU took a 56-39 advantage into the locker room and extended its lead to as many as 37 points in the second half.<\/p>\n<p>The win is the fourth in a row for the Vikings, who are now 7-3 overall. Trinity Bible College drops to 3-6.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"rosterLink2\" class=\"rosterProfileLink  \" title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vcsuvikings.com\/roster\/49\/1\/3887\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/49\/1\/3887\" data-original-title=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vcsuvikings.com\/images\/2021-22\/11_23_mbb_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>Jalen Addison<\/a> led all scorers with 19 points, shooting 3-for-4 on 3-pointers and 8-for-9 overall on Tuesday. Schramm and Oyet both posted double-doubles with 11 points and 10 rebounds each. Oyet added a team-high three steals.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"rosterLink3\" class=\"rosterProfileLink  \" title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vcsuvikings.com\/roster\/49\/1\/4177\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/49\/1\/4177\" data-original-title=\"\">Uhana Ochan<\/a> was a perfect 5-for-5 from the field as he finished with 12 points and five rebounds, and <a id=\"rosterLink4\" class=\"rosterProfileLink  \" title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vcsuvikings.com\/roster\/49\/1\/4176\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/49\/1\/4176\" data-original-title=\"\">Duoth Gach<\/a> had 11 points and four rebounds. Four other Vikings had at least six points in a balanced effort, which included six points and six assists from point guard <a id=\"rosterLink5\" class=\"rosterProfileLink  \" title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vcsuvikings.com\/roster\/49\/1\/3897\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/49\/1\/3897\" data-original-title=\"\">Joshua Kelly<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Vikings totaled 23 assists in the game as they shot 40-for-77 overall (52 percent). VCSU was 12-for-38 on 3&#8217;s (32 percent) and went 3-for-4 on free throws. The Vikings also held a 45-28 rebounding advantage, included a 10-7 edge on the offensive glass.<\/p>\n<p>Trinity Bible College shot 38 percent overall (27-71), 23 percent on 3&#8217;s (5-22) and 57 percent at the line (8-14). Austin Molan led the Lions with 16 points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Up next:<\/strong> Valley City State (7-3) rematches with No. 10-ranked University of Jamestown on Saturday, Nov. 27, at Jamestown. The Jimmies are currently 8-1 overall. VCSU lost to Jamestown 81-64 back on Nov. 12 in Valley City.
