On the next Jimmie possession, <a id=\"rosterLink0\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/2\/11016\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/2\/11016\" data-original-title=\"\">Hannah DeMars<\/a> (JR\/Grand Rapids, MN) drained a three-pointer from the top of the key to tie the game with ten seconds to play.<\/p>\n<p>UJ led 17-12 after one quarter and would lead by as many as 11 in the second. <a id=\"rosterLink1\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/2\/11192\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/2\/11192\" data-original-title=\"\">Jailyn Martinson<\/a> (FR\/Devils Lake, ND)&#8217;s basket capped off a 7-1 run to make it 36-25 with 2:08 before halftime.<\/p>\n<p>The Bulldogs scored the last five points of the half and trailed by just six despite shooting 10-for-38 overall.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"rosterLink2\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/2\/11203\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/2\/11203\" data-original-title=\"\">Madelyn Schmidt<\/a> (FR\/Tappen, ND)&#8217;s jumper put Jamestown ahead by seven at the 4:05 mark of the third quarter and was the final basket for UJ in the period. CUNE closed on a 12-2 run and took a three-point lead into the final quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown twice trailed by eight in the fourth, and were behind as many as seven with 1:41 to play. DeMars sank a pair of free throws, <a id=\"rosterLink3\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/2\/11014\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/2\/11014\" data-original-title=\"\">Noelle Josephson<\/a> (SR\/Ramsey, MN) converted a three-point play, and then made two free throws of her own to get within 66-64.<\/p>\n<p>DeMars had 17 points and eight rebounds while Josephson finished with 13 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and four steals. <a id=\"rosterLink4\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/2\/11017\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/2\/11017\" data-original-title=\"\">Kia Tower<\/a> (JR\/Bigfork, MN) was also in double figures with 11, and <a id=\"rosterLink5\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/2\/11029\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/2\/11029\" data-original-title=\"\">Audrey Rodakowski<\/a> (SO\/Dickinson, ND) pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.<\/p>\n<p>UJ, now 4-4 and 1-3 in the GPAC, host Valley City State (N.D.) Saturday at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Men<\/p>\n<p>Concordia University (Neb) 92 Jamestown 67<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/SIDHelp\/fullBoxScores\/22\/1\/8848\">Box score<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>SEWARD, Neb.\u00a0 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/article\/6342\">UJ<\/a>)\u00a0 &#8212;\u00a0<\/strong>The tenth-ranked University of Jamestown men&#8217;s basketball team lost for the first time this season, falling 92-76 to Concordia University in GPAC action.<\/p>\n<p>In the first half, <a id=\"rosterLink0\" class=\"rosterProfileLink   \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/1\/10701\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/1\/10701\" data-original-title=\"\">Mason Walters<\/a> (JR\/Jamestown, ND) had 14 points and eight rebounds while <a id=\"rosterLink1\" class=\"rosterProfileLink   \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/1\/10700\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/1\/10700\" data-original-title=\"\">Devon Schultz<\/a> (SR\/Arlington, MN) posted a double-double of 10 points and ten rebounds to help the Jimmies lead 46-45 at halftime. UJ outrebounded Concordia 27-13 in the opening 20 minutes and shot 19-of-39 overall.<\/p>\n<p>The teams battled back and forth in the second half, with four ties and six lead changes. The Jimmies&#8217; largest lead was three points after a <a id=\"rosterLink2\" class=\"rosterProfileLink   \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/1\/10698\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/1\/10698\" data-original-title=\"\">Marc Kjos<\/a> (JR\/Lake City, MN) layup made it 51-48 early in the second.<\/p>\n<p>Kjos brought Jamestown level with a jumper at the 8:36 mark to make it 70-70, but Concordia reeled off the next 10 points and kept UJ off the scoreboard until Schultz made a pair of free throws with 4:05 to play. CUNE finshed the game on a 12-4 run.<\/p>\n<p>The Bulldogs shot 17-of-27 (63 percent) from the field and 11-for-11 at the foul line in the second half, while the Jimmies shot 13-of-32 (40.6 percent) and went to the foul line just four times, making all four.<\/p>\n<p>Walters led UJ with 28 points and had 11 rebounds while Schultz finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds. <a id=\"rosterLink3\" class=\"rosterProfileLink   \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/1\/10702\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/1\/10702\" data-original-title=\"\">Cole Woodford<\/a> (SO\/Redwood Falls, MN) was also in double figures with 11.
