FOX News\u00a0<\/a> Attorneys for the parents of Oxford High School shooting suspect Ethan Crumbley say the two are returning to the Oakland County, Michigan<\/u><\/a>, area to be arraigned after authorities as the public to be on the lookout Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n

“The Crumbleys left town on the night of the tragic shooting for their own safety. They are returning to the area to be arraigned. They are not fleeing from law enforcement despite recent comments in media reports,” attorneys Shannon Smith and Mariell Lehman told Fox News.<\/p>\n

A statewide “Be on the Lookout” (BOLO) alert was issued for James and Jennifer Crumbley\u00a0Friday, two police departments first confirmed to FOX 2<\/a> Detroit.<\/p>\n

PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) \u2014 The parents of a teen accused of killing four students at a Michigan high school have been charged with involuntary manslaughter. A prosecutor described chilling moments that day when a teacher found a drawing of a gun, a person bleeding and the words \u201cblood everywhere\u201d at the boy\u2019s desk. Prosecutor Karen McDonald says Jennifer and James Crumbley committed \u201cegregious\u201d acts, from buying the gun for Ethan Crumbley and failing to intervene when they were summoned to the school and confronted with the drawing. \u00a0Police say Ethan Crumbley emerged from a bathroom with a gun, firing at students in the hallway Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, police are searching for the couple.\u00a0 Their car, a 2021 Kia Setos, SUV\u00a0 has the Michigan license plate number DQG 5203.<\/p>\n
