{"id":240967,"date":"2021-12-13T09:21:45","date_gmt":"2021-12-13T15:21:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=240967"},"modified":"2021-12-13T15:29:13","modified_gmt":"2021-12-13T21:29:13","slug":"donald-gruman-dec-10-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=240967","title":{"rendered":"Donald Gruman &#8211; Friday Dec10, 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Donald Gruman, age 74, of Valley City, ND, died Friday, December 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.\u00a0 A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 16<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fingal, ND.\u00a0Visitation will be held two hours before the service at the church on Thursday afternoon.\u00a0 Inurnment will be in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.\u00a0 An online guestbook and livestream of Donald\u2019s service will be available at www.lerudschuldt.com.<\/p>\n<p>Donald John Gruman was born July 25, 1947 in Valley City, ND to John and Mary (Windish) Gruman. He attended Fingal High School and graduated in 1965.\u00a0 Donny served in the United States Army from March 13, 1967 to March 13, 1969 with one year in Vietnam.\u00a0 While serving, he received two Purple Hearts.\u00a0 He married Kathleen Baumgartner on September 19, 1970 at St. Bernard\u2019s Catholic Church in Oriska, ND.\u00a0 Donny farmed his entire life. He enjoyed his four-wheeler, taking care of his yard, and going for his afternoon drive.\u00a0 Most of all, he loved God, his wife, kids, and grandkids.<\/p>\n<p>Donny is survived by his wife, Kathleen. Daughters Dawn (Scott) Dieterle; Brenna, Taryn, Jadyn, and Jack. Kim (Kevin) Eggermont; Jordan, Jared, and Brooke. Deb (Casey) Burchill; Hunter, Calahan, Katie, and Brock. Kristi (Corey) Hovelson; Carson, Courtney, Clay, Carly, and Cole. Patti (Peter) Jewett; Maxton, Alison, Bristol, and Benjamin. A son, Richard (Kallie); Adelaide.
