The Wrangler was traveling in an erratic manner and drove through the intersection<br \/>\nand into the west ditch of ND Highway 1806. The Wrangler impacted an embankment, and the driver<br \/>\nwas ejected and later died of his injuries at Sanford Hospital. The crash is still under investigation by<br \/>\nthe North Dakota Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n<p>On June 10, 2022 at approximately 12:00 noon, Fargo Police Department<br \/>\nrequested ND Highway Patrol assistance with a serious injury motorcycle crash that also<br \/>\ninvolved a commercial motor vehicle. Troopers investigated the crash and learned that<br \/>\nSchweitzer was operating a motorcycle westbound on 12th Avenue N near Interstate 29.<br \/>\nHamre was operating a bobtail International truck southbound on Interstate 29 and had<br \/>\nturned westbound on 12th Avenue N. Schweitzer approached the truck and laid the bike<br \/>\ndown, sliding into the truck. Schweitzer was not wearing a helmet and sustained serious<br \/>\ninjuries.
