CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (jimmiepride.com)\u2013 <\/strong>Three members of the University of Jamestown women\u2019s golf team were recognized as 2021-22 WGCA All-American Scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 1,485 women\u2019s collegiate golfers were recognized with the honor. Criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of collegiate athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earning the honor for the Jimmies were Haley Malone<\/a> (SR\/Moorhead, Minn.), Coley Olson<\/a> (JR\/Cook, Minn.), and Kyra Vogel<\/a> (SO\/Jamestown, N.D.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2021-22 WGCA All-American Scholars<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NORMAN, Okla.(jimmiepride.com)\u2013 <\/strong>Four University of Jamestown men\u2019s golfers were named 2021-22 Srixon\/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholars for the NAIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tomas Garcia, Tate Olson, Benjamin Schaefer<\/a> (JR\/New Rockford, N.D.), and Jackson Worner<\/a> (SR\/West Fargo, N.D.) earned the award for UJ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be eligible for Srixon\/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their Associate\u2019s Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team\u2019s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, under 78.0 in NAIA, and under 77.0 in NJCAA, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sixty NAIA athletes from 19 schools earned 2021-22 Srixon\/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar honors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
