At the time, the people of the home said he hung himself from a tree, but court documents show investigators believe it may have been staged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Documents say the medical examiner said it appeared stage and Syverson was strangled with \u201cmarks to imitate ligature.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, family members attended the placement of a new headstone for Gunnar, which features him wearing his riders jacket on a motorcycle. The 4,000 pound stone is engraved with #JusticForGunnar as the family continues to look for answers in his death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Court papers indicate police have suspects, but no arrests have been made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A $25,000 reward has been offered by the family for the arrest and conviction in Gunnar\u2019s case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>North Dakota BCI is investigating, but due to the active investigation, no further details can be shared at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (KFGO) \u2013 It\u2019s been two years since officials have deemed the death of Gunnar Syverson a homicide and his family is still seeking answers.
