{"id":254992,"date":"2022-08-23T21:12:00","date_gmt":"2022-08-24T02:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=254992"},"modified":"2022-08-24T06:22:32","modified_gmt":"2022-08-24T11:22:32","slug":"committee-recommends-joint-powers-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=254992","title":{"rendered":"Committee Recommends Joint Powers Agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Jamestown   (CSi)  The Jamestown Finance &amp; Legal Committee Tuesday looked at  a possible joint powers agreement with Jamestown Parks &amp; Recreation to apply for grant funding for the installation and maintenance of bridges at three parks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement would oversee the grant application for bridges in Klaus, Nickeus, and McElroy parks in the city.   Project cost estimates from Interstate Engineering show a  cost of $1.6 million with roughly 81-percent covered by federal and the rest by local share. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mayor  Heinrich said the city has not yet been awarded the grant.
