Update<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The storage unit fire Thursday evening in Jamestown has been termed, accidental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown City Fire Department, including Ladder One, was called 6:30-P.M. Thursday Aug 25, to a storage unit fire on 4th Avenue SW & Louis L’Amour Lane, at Richlyn Self Storage. When firefighters arrived the unit was fully engulfed in flames, with an active fire inside. Otter Tail Power Company cut power to the building. MDU and Jamestown Area Ambulance assisted at the scene. Jamestown Police and the North Dakota Highway Patrol assisted with traffic control on scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lt. Sheldon Mohr says five City Fire Units and 25 firefighters were on the scene for six hours, as they continued to search for any hot spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No injuries reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contents, consisting of various types of vehicles was destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
