A celebration of beer, brats and lederhosen.<br>Sat Sept 17 from 5:30 \u2013  8:30 pm in The Hansen Arts Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oktoberfest is a Munich tradition since 1810, when it celebrated the betrothal of the Bavarian King Ludwig I to Princess Therese.&nbsp;&nbsp;Since that time, Oktoberfest has grown to a worldwide phenomenon, a celebration of all things German\u2026 in particular the especially potent Oktoberfest beer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On September 17th, The Arts Center is proud to sponsor our own annual Oktoberfest celebration!&nbsp;&nbsp;Once again we are holding Oktoberfest downtown in our own Hansen Arts Park, the perfect venue for this popular fundraiser.&nbsp;&nbsp;This year\u2019s celebration includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;Oktoberfest beers and cider on tap (Rootbeer also available)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;German style bratwurst and fries as part of the admission price<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;Live music by the Flickertail band &amp; Tim Burchill on accordian<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;German style games and festivities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s as close as you can come to a trip to Bavaria without leaving ND\u2026 a real Oktoberfest celebration right here in downtown Jamestown!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enjoy great beer and food, live music and best of all, genuine German&nbsp;<em>gem\u00fctlichkeit&nbsp;<\/em>(friendliness)\u2026 all at The Arts Center\u2019s Oktoberfest!&nbsp;&nbsp;We hope to see on September 17th!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets are $35 and are available from Cork &amp; Barrel, The Arts Center, Arts Center Board members, online and at the gate.
