{"id":255657,"date":"2022-08-31T15:46:37","date_gmt":"2022-08-31T20:46:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=255657"},"modified":"2022-09-01T09:03:41","modified_gmt":"2022-09-01T14:03:41","slug":"jfd-called-to-rail-car-coal-fire-wed-a-m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=255657","title":{"rendered":"JFD Called to rail car coal fire Weds Aug 31"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Jamestown  (JFD)  \u2014 The Jamestown City Fire Department responded Wednesday morning, August 31, about 5-a.m. to the 800 block of First Street West. to a BNSF Railway coal car that was smoldering in Jamestown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five units and 23 firefighters responded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No injuries reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cause is assumed to have been from a bad wheel bearing on the coal car that created heat and rose up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firefighters were on scene for about two hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday  BNSF was to move the coal car to a workable location not close to live railroad tracks. and extinguish whatever is left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (JFD) \u2014 The Jamestown City Fire Department responded Wednesday morning, August 31, about 5-a.m. to the 800 block of First Street West. to a BNSF Railway coal car that was smoldering in Jamestown.
