FCCU was able to raise $4,500 for this worthy cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bismarck Cancer Center, Altru Cancer Center in Grand Forks and the Jamestown Regional Medical Center\u2019s Cancer Center will all receive $1500 to their gap programs which will assist patients with transportation, nutritional supplements, housing accommodations and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s humbling to see the impact that a donation can make,\u201d said Susan Long Swen, Event and Community Engagement Specialist with FCCU. Long Swen continued to share, \u201cIt\u2019s amazing to see the work they are doing at these cancer centers. We hope that our donation can help patients alleviate the burdens of travel, housing, nutrition and more.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"attachment_300719\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dehayf5mhw1h7.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1065\/2022\/09\/01072003\/Altru-Cancer-Center-check-presentation.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dehayf5mhw1h7.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1065\/2022\/09\/01072003\/Altru-Cancer-Center-check-presentation-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-300719\"\/><\/a><figcaption>Photo: FCCU<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Funds were raised through various means including a staff internal auction, and special dress up days like colors for a cause and Friday jeans day.
