A Wahpeton man sustained serious injuries after a DUI crash Saturday, October 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Harley Davidson motorcycle was southbound on Richland County Road 8 when it failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway. The motorcycle rolled and caught fire after coming to rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The driver was immediately given CPR by the first witness to come across the crash. The 60 year-old Wahpeton man was not wearing a helmet and suffered life threatening injuries from the crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was taken to the Breckenridge Hospital and later flown to Sanford Health in Fargo by Sanford AirMed. He remains hospitalized with serious injuries and was arrested for DUI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Highway Patrol was assisted by the Richland County Sheriff\u2019s Department, Sanford AirMed, Wahpeton Fire Department, Wahpeton Ambulance, and Breckenridge Ambulance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
