(AP) \u2014 A North Dakota judge says he&#8217;ll keep the state\u2019s ban on abortion from taking effect because there&#8217;s a &#8220;substantial probability\u201d that a constitutional challenge to the law will succeed in court. Judge Bruce Romanick\u2019s Monday ruling means abortion is still legal in North Dakota. However, Romanick said the question of whether abortion is a constitutional right in the state has not been decided. The state\u2019s only clinic \u2014 the Red River Women\u2019s Clinic of Fargo \u2014 closed as it challenged the ban and has moved across the the border to neighboring Minnesota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier Monday<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FARGO, N.D. (AP) \u2014 A North Dakota judge has affirmed his refusal to let the state\u2019s abortion ban take effect despite the state Supreme Court ordering him to reconsider whether he had made the \u201cappropriate\u201d decision as a lawsuit over the law is pending. Judge Bruce Romanick last month rejected a request from North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley to let the law take effect while the state\u2019s only abortion clinic, the Red River Women\u2019s Clinic of Fargo, challenges it on constitutional grounds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BISMARCK, N.D.
