Jamestown 6 Northern Ill. 0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Box Score<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kole Christensson<\/a> had a pair of goals and Brandon Weare<\/a> made 22 saves in his first career shutout as the fifth-ranked University of Jamestown hockey team defeated Northern Illinois University 6-0 Friday evening at Wilson Arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Brad Fortin<\/a>, Logan Berggren<\/a>, Jordan Popoff<\/a>, and Keaton Cline<\/a> also scored as the Jimmies remained unbeaten in the MCH (5-0-0).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Christensson’s fourth of the season came at 4:41 on assists by Carter Johnson<\/a> and Weare, giving UJ the early lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jamestown broke the game open in the second period, netting four goals on 18 shots. Fortin, Berggren, Popoff, and Christensson again accounted for the Jimmie tallies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Cline made it 6-0 with his third of the year at 8:15 of the third period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Johnson, Andrew Clark<\/a>, and Reid Wilson<\/a> each had a pair of assists.
