FORT COLLINS, Colo. (UJ<\/a>) — <\/strong>Bethany Wielgosh<\/a> (FR\/Beausejour, MB) scored a hat trick and\u00a0the University of Jamestown scored a season-high 10 goals to complete a sweep of its Colorado road trip as they defeated Colorado State University 10-3 Sunday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma Strouse<\/a> (FR\/Coon Rapids, Minn.) added two goals and assist while Chloe Gauthier<\/a> (FR\/Ste. Anne, MB) assisted on three others as UJ doubled up on its previous season best of five goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strouse, Jayden Baker<\/a> (FR\/Regina, SK), Mackenzie Couling<\/a> (FR\/Pilot Mound, MB), and Ashton Lee<\/a> (FR\/Pierre, S.D.) all scored to give the Jimmies a 4-1 lead going into the second period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wielgosh, Annika Braun<\/a> (FR\/Altona, MB), and Crystal Wale<\/a> (JR\/Moose Jaw, SK) had second-period goals as both teams combined for five scores in the second 20 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strouse’s second and two more from Wielgosh rounded out the the third period scoring for Jamestown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bailey Lindsay<\/a> (FR\/Regina, SK) made 18 saves in earning her first collegiate victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jimmies will play a home-and-home series next weekend beginning with a 2:00 p.m. game at Dakota College-Bottineau on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
