Bismarck, NDHP \u2013 The North Dakota Highway Patrol was awarded advanced accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. The NDHP has been accredited since 1989 and received meritorious recognition for being accredited for more than 15 continuous years. The NDHP must comply with more than 350 professional public safety standards to maintain its accreditation status.
Accreditation was awarded to the NDHP on Saturday, November 19, 2022, during a CALEA conference in St. Louis, MO. \u201cOur dedicated team members continually prove they\u2019re capable of meeting the highest standards of professional excellence in the field of law enforcement,\u201d said Colonel Brandon Solberg. A new four-year accreditation cycle began on May 1, 2022.
