He graduated from&nbsp;the Meyer School of Broadcasting on February 26,&nbsp;1988, just prior to graduating from&nbsp;High School in Velva, ND in May 1988. He went&nbsp;on to marry Shari Monge on November 21, 1992. They would have one daughter together, Ashley. He would later marry Shelley Guthmiller. After many years of marriage, they would divorce.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Todd loved music, it was a&nbsp;passion&nbsp;and a way of life for him. He worked in the industry in one way or another his entire life, having&nbsp;T-N-T music while in high school, Dynamite Productions alongside his brother, and working at K-Hit radio in Minot, ND&nbsp;and later for Ingestad\u2019s&nbsp;Family Media&nbsp;in Jamestown, ND. He was also a part of the Reserve Deputy Sheriff\u2019s Department as well as worked&nbsp;at the James River Correctional Center for 15 years.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Todd was known by&nbsp;his radio personality Scott Shannon, but to so many others he was Goatboy. To&nbsp;his family he was a&nbsp;brother, son, father, and grandpa, but&nbsp;most importantly he was a friend. He touched the lives of all the people he met, and he loved to entertain whether through his music or through his jokes,&nbsp;he just wanted to make people laugh.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He was such a proud grandpa and loved his family. He adored his cats, motorcycles, cars, music, and movies. He&nbsp;enjoyed attending concerts and while working through&nbsp;radio he was able to interview many of those artists he looked up to.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Sam) Gray, grandson, Izaac Gray, granddaughter, Adleigh,&nbsp;his parents, Deloris (Mel) Weisenberger, brother, Darin (Bev) Goter, sister, Jennifer (Tony) Spatola, nephews, Cullen Goter, Kade Wanzek, and Owen Spatola, nieces, Kelsey and Kaitlyn Goter, Mattea&nbsp;and Leah Wanzek, and Mady Spatola. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Kevin.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He is preceded in death by his father, Siemen Goter, grandparents, Louis and May Pulst and Ernest and Elsie Goter, and a niece, McKenna Spatola.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In order to&nbsp;honor the many friendships Todd had he will have honorary pallbearers&nbsp;to include:&nbsp;Lance Opperude, Scott Jensen, Ted Schlepuetz, Cullen Goter, Kade Wanzek, Owen Spatola, Kevin Whitney, Patrick Dunwoody, Chris Jung, and Corey Bayer. Although,&nbsp;they will not be able to carry him to his final resting place they will help us to carry the many, many memories&nbsp;in our hearts.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Todd\u2019s prayer service will be held on Friday January 13, 2023&nbsp;with visitation to begin at 6pm&nbsp;and a prayer service to follow at 7pm at the Eddy Funeral Home. His Celebration of Life will be on Saturday January 14, 2023&nbsp;at 10am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND.
